Victor Klasens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 19th match minute, Rilland HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Lever to maneuver through the defense. Mike Molnar hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Dirk Jan Kinear's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Klasens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Denny Brinks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Victor Klasens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Dirk Jan Kinear managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rilland HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dirk Jan Kinear was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Klasens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denny Brinks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Victor Klasens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dirk Jan Kinear struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Victor Klasens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rilland HC. In the 32nd minute, Kenneth Nijemanting hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dirk Jan Kinear hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Arjen Lammens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Rilland HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Nijemanting to maneuver through the defense. Hette Bakhuis hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Denny Brinks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sjoerd Abbekerk made the kick off in the second half. Arjen Lammens's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Remond Wiggers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Sjoerd Abbekerk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oostereind's Victor Klasens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Jan Kinear in the 66th minute of play. If Arjen Lammens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Oostereind booed when Rilland HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Lever didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sjoerd Abbekerk was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Oostereind's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Arjen Lammens's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Remond Wiggers firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Rilland HC booed when Oostereind was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arjen Lammens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Klasens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dirk Jan Kinear in the 84th minute of the match. Mark Lever charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Lever the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mark Lever kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. If Dirk Jan Kinear had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Oostereind got a freekick which was hit by Billy Merenga. 96 minutes into the match, Rilland HC's Ricky Senden broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Oostereind's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
