Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dalfsen's Folker van Aalderen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sven Baan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coos Plaggenborg having to interfere. Folker van Aalderen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc Ruiter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folker van Aalderen in the 13th minute of the match. Gert Stegeman kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A hard shot by Donny Dost from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Marc Ruiter's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Coos Plaggenborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Baan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Henk Hartogh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Coos Plaggenborg skillfully saved the ball. In the 26th minute Sven Baan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Coos Plaggenborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Yuri van Zeijl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marc Ruiter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Folker van Aalderen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalfsen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folker van Aalderen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marc Ruiter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folker van Aalderen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Baan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Baars in the 56th minute of play forced Dalfsen's goalkeeper Coos Plaggenborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Ruiter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folker van Aalderen in the 61st minute of the match. When Jurgen Schuiling came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Dalfsen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jurgen Schuiling couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute Folker van Aalderen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Ruiter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Ruiter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jurgen Schuiling's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Jurgen Schuiling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marc Ruiter. Geloo RKSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurgen Schuiling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Jurgen Schuiling came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Dalfsen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jurgen Schuiling couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Dalfsen getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ronald Lammers hit a great ball. If Raymond Baars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jurgen Schuiling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marc Ruiter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folker van Aalderen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Hulshof's late challenge caught a Dalfsen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florian Hulshof helped the player get up and apologised. Florian Hulshof kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Geloo RKSV's goal looked a bit too open when Jurgen Schuiling came free, but Marc Ruiter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dalfsen's Folker van Aalderen in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Geloo RKSV's goalie prevented a goal. Jurgen Schuiling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Marc Ruiter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dalfsen's zone, Sven Baan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Coos Plaggenborg came out of the goal and Sven Baan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
