After 11 minutes, Olof Krol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westdorp and the Dalfsen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Westdorp got a freekick which was hit by Olof Krol. 12 minutes into the match, Dalfsen's Donny Dost broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 20 played minutes Dalfsen got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Lammers. When Stijn Boschker came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Westdorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stijn Boschker couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Koen Verhoeven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Westdorp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Koen Verhoeven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Stijn Boschker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Coos Plaggenborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurgen Schuiling struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Geale Spiljard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dalfsen. Koen Verhoeven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Coos Plaggenborg made a huge save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folker van Aalderen was the one to do the kick off. Coos Plaggenborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stijn Boschker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jurgen Schuiling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dalfsen booed when Westdorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Boezem didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Folker van Aalderen in the 61st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jurgen Schuiling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Koen Verhoeven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westdorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Koen Verhoeven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Coos Plaggenborg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jurgen Schuiling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Geale Spiljard made a huge save. Geale Spiljard made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Jurgen Schuiling sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Dalfsen's goal looked a bit too open when Koen Verhoeven came free, but Coos Plaggenborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalfsen:s Coos Plaggenborg showed great skill when he stopped Fabian Oosterbaan:s penalty. In the 99th minute Stijn Boschker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Coos Plaggenborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stijn Boschker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coos Plaggenborg having to interfere. Westdorp's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
