Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reinhard Kemper kicked off to start the match. Jordi Höhenstein hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the game, Erik Cruijff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Langen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuidlaren the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinhard Kemper got free with Rein van der Vaart in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reinhard Kemper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reinier Sneijder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rein van der Vaart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinhard Kemper's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Rein van der Vaart skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Langen's goalkeeper Rein van der Vaart, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Carel Das was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuidlaren's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Langen the free kick. In the 36th minute, Carel Das hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeroen Koster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Saeijs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
In the 52nd play minute Edgard Saeijs came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jeroen Koster. 0-1. Carel Das kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Jordy Geerts shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeroen Koster showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 59th minute Egbert Rinzema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeroen Koster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Edgard Saeijs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Langen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Langen booed when Zuidlaren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carel Das didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes Egbert Rinzema rounded Zuidlaren's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. In the 68th minute, Hans van Dongen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinhard Kemper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rein van der Vaart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Rein van der Vaart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinier Sneijder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Egbert Rinzema managed to get in a good position for a shot. Langen's supporters rose to their feet, but Egbert Rinzema was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeroen Koster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Reinhard Kemper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rein van der Vaart was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. When Erik Cruijff was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. After 86 played minutes Langen got a freekick which was hit by Erik Cruijff. In the 88thth minute of the game Reinhard Kemper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Langen's Rein van der Vaart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Reinier Sneijder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rein van der Vaart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinhard Kemper in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Langen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
