Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arjen Fransen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Peter Tuyp scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cobus Jurjens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Dirk-Jan Huizinga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel van Asten was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Peter Tuyp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michel van Asten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk-Jan Huizinga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Tuyp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brammelo's goalkeeper Cobus Jurjens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Dirk-Jan Huizinga made the kick off in the second half. Brammelo were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Heistraat's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geert Lamberts took the corner. After taking down the ball on Brammelo's corner Geert Lamberts fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Michel van Asten quite easily take care of the ball. Dimitrie Meerdink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Michel van Asten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Hans-Cees Mulders mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heistraat and the Brammelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Heistraat's Hans-Cees Mulders got a free kick in the 60th minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Dirk-Jan Huizinga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brammelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dirk-Jan Huizinga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Robert-Jan Deijnen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Heistraat getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jim Scheper hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Geert Lamberts sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Michel van Asten threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Geert Lamberts this time. 74 minutes into the match, Heistraat's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk-Jan Huizinga came free, but Michel van Asten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cobus Jurjens came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Heistraat's Peter Tuyp. But to his dismay, Peter Tuyp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 89th minute, Dirk-Jan Huizinga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heistraat's Michel van Asten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk-Jan Huizinga in the 95th minute of play.
