An unexpectedly hard shot by Carsten Bogaard in the 3rd minute of play forced Spekhoek's goalkeeper Nick Wolf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Niek Venema got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 39th play minute Niek Venema came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nick Wolf. 2-0. In the 45th minute Godfried Nelissen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorn de Jong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godfried Nelissen made a kick off. Carsten Bogaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58thth minute of the game Carsten Bogaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spekhoek's Nick Wolf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on Heppert's corner Jordi Aalst fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nick Wolf quite easily take care of the ball. Nick Wolf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niek Venema, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niek Venema in the 70th minute of play forced Spekhoek's goalkeeper Nick Wolf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Carsten Bogaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heppert's supporters rose to their feet, but Carsten Bogaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nick Wolf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nick Wolf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niek Venema in the 84th minute of the match. If Klaus Stok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carsten Bogaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Heppert's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
