Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when René Mos made the kick off which started today's match. Fernando Wilbrink kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Lovendaal's Allard Haar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. René Mos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Kees Nieuwburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerrit Lange made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Mark Palsma sent off a good shot on target. Jef Schol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerrit Lange read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Jef Schol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lovendaal's Gerrit Lange was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 24 played minutes Lovendaal got a freekick which was hit by Bob Som. In the 25th minute of the match Fernando Wilbrink shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerrit Lange showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kees Nieuwburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from René Mos in the 29th minute of play. Jef Schol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, Jef Schol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mortel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jef Schol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mark Palsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jef Schol to strike the kick off in the second half. When Mark Palsma came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Mortel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Palsma couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute Mark Palsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Lange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Humberto Waesbergen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Palsma struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Gerrit Lange didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mortel. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lovendaal! The referee gave Mortel a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fernando Wilbrink, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lovendaal's Gerrit Lange. 1-0. Kees Nieuwburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from René Mos, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. René Mos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kees Nieuwburg came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Lovendaal's Oscar Redan. But to his dismay, Oscar Redan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mark Palsma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerrit Lange having to interfere. Bas Weerd charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bas Weerd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. René Mos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Mortel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Weerd to maneuver through the defense. Lovendaal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Allard Haar in the 92nd minute. Lovendaal's René Mos got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jef Schol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
