Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julius Post started the match with the kick off. Eelco Meijeringh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boukjan Bouma in the 3rd minute of the match. Alfred Poels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Bot in the 5th minute of the match. Julius Post sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ron Stuifzand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute, Sjors Geerdink reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eelco Meijeringh. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Post in the 23rd minute of play forced Glind HC's goalkeeper Alfred Poels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Julius Post's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Poels was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julius Post in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Poels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julius Post blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Poels having to make a save. After 34 minutes, Gilbert Bot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flevo HC and the Glind HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilbert Bot hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Flevo HC's Lukas Evers managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gilbert Latten in the 53 minute of the game. If Julius Post had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilbert Bot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Poels having to interfere. Julius Post received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alfred Poels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glind HC's Alfred Poels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Evers in the 62nd minute of play. When Gilbert Bot came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Flevo HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Bot couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Flevo HC's Julius Post ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfred Poels. Alfred Poels yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Gerrit Grasmaaijer in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Glind HC's Giovanni Geitz. 80 minutes into the match, Glind HC's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Post came free, but Alfred Poels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jouke Velthuis took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eelco Meijeringh. Eelco Meijeringh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Julius Post recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilbert Bot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Poels having to interfere. When the match was over Flevo HC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Glind HC throughout the match.
