Rood Geel's Kurt Harmens got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kurt Harmens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eelco Crans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Eelco Crans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin de Ridder in the 9th minute of play. Eelco Crans made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Kurt Harmens sent off a good shot on target. If Robin de Ridder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eelco Crans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin de Ridder in the 16th minute of play. Jochem Moermans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eelco Crans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin de Ridder in the 20th minute of the match. Robin de Ridder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Eelco Crans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eelco Crans, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. vv viberator's Eelco Crans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin de Ridder in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Jochem Moermans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rood Geel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

54 minutes into the match, vv viberator's goal looked a bit too open when Robin de Ridder came free, but Eelco Crans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin de Ridder struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Eelco Crans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rood Geel. 61 minutes into the match, Rood Geel's Robin de Ridder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eelco Crans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 62 minutes, Bruno Huisingh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the vv viberator and the Rood Geel players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Robin de Ridder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eelco Crans was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Fokke Kikkert might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toni van Rijswijk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fokke Kikkert ran back to his position shaking his head. Eelco Crans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin de Ridder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin de Ridder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eelco Crans having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in vv viberator's zone, Robin de Ridder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eelco Crans came out of the goal and Robin de Ridder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jochem Moermans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rood Geel's supporters rose to their feet, but Jochem Moermans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eelco Crans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eelco Crans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin de Ridder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Robin de Ridder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eelco Crans was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Rood Geel walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
