Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonathan Ploeger took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogier Winter in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sjors Roewen saved IJsseloord from getting behind. If Jonathan Ploeger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dutch United FC's Sjaak Klaus got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Ricky Teesing got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Dutch United FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Felix Boswijk hit a great ball. Sjors Roewen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Ploeger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ploeger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sjors Roewen having to interfere. When Jef Kleiker fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IJsseloord's protests and gave Jef Kleiker a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, IJsseloord was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jef Kleiker to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Ploeger in the 34th minute of play forced IJsseloord's goalkeeper Sjors Roewen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ricky Teesing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Antoon Popken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as IJsseloord's Frederik Zoolingen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mike Huiting. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Frederik Zoolingen made the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Coenraad van der Leegte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederik Zoolingen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Mike Huiting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricky Teesing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Huiting having to interfere. If Frederik Zoolingen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederik Zoolingen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ricky Teesing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Teesing in the 90th minute of play forced Dutch United FC's goalkeeper Mike Huiting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sjors Roewen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Ploeger in the 91st minute of play. Hendrik Korfs kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Dutch United FC's Mike Huiting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Zoolingen in the 95th minute of play. If Ricky Teesing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. IJsseloord's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
