Kees Rogaars helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bekelaar booed when Kerkeind Excelsior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kees Rogaars didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Fokke Iepstra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Bekelaar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jordi Schenning should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Bekelaar's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Heida came free, but Jordi Schenning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Brandsma in the 35th minute of play forced Bekelaar's goalkeeper Jordi Schenning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harm Brunt kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Bekelaar getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Marnix de Boer hit a great ball. Fokke Iepstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin van der Wiel having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Felix Heida kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jordi Schenning. That made the score 0-3 in the 69 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Sander Riemers in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bekelaar's Matthijs Cremers. Jordi Schenning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Heida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Ramon Brandsma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramon Brandsma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jordi Schenning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Fokke Iepstra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin van der Wiel. Kerkeind Excelsior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fokke Iepstra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Jim Popken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robin van der Wiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fokke Iepstra in the 90th minute of the match. Robin van der Wiel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jim Popken went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Bekelaar's Fokke Iepstra got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
