Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jan Hendrik Jacobs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Jim Popken came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Bekelaar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Popken couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bekelaar's Matthijs Cremers got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Arjan Bogaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jordi Schenning skillfully saved the ball. Jordi Schenning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Geraets in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Bekelaar's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Hendrik Jacobs came free, but Jordi Schenning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jim Popken came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Bekelaar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Popken couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bekelaar's Fokke Iepstra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joop Ridder. That made the score 1-1 after 17 minutes of play. Henk van Alst hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jordi Schenning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Hendrik Jacobs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jim Popken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Roligt's Henk van Alst got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Henk van Alst's late challenge caught a Bekelaar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henk van Alst helped the player get up and apologised. Joop Ridder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Popken in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Hendrik Jacobs in the 44th minute of play forced Bekelaar's goalkeeper Jordi Schenning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fokke Iepstra to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Roligt's Henk van Alst got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Marnix de Boer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Roligt's Jan Hendrik Jacobs got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Roligt's Jan Hendrik Jacobs got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bekelaar's Jordi Schenning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Hendrik Jacobs in the 76th minute of play. Harmen Luikens scored 3-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joop Ridder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute, Jim Popken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Roligt's zone, Fokke Iepstra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joop Ridder came out of the goal and Fokke Iepstra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Bekelaar getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Koos Nedergaard hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Bekelaar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
