Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kelvin Bok took the kick off in the first half of the match. Iwan Zoolingen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute Bastiaan Ottens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Werner Platvoet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerben Eulen kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Iwan Zoolingen in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arie van Steensel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 16th minute, Ron Hulshof hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bastiaan Ottens in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Werner Platvoet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arie van Steensel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ron Hulshof, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Ron Hulshof managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velddijk VV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ron Hulshof was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 33 played minutes Veenebrugge got a freekick which was hit by Karsten de Zaaijer. Iwan Zoolingen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Arie van Steensel made a huge save. Iwan Zoolingen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arie van Steensel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Veenebrugge getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gerben Eulen hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes Velddijk VV got a freekick which was hit by Ron Hulshof. Iwan Zoolingen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ron Hulshof to strike the kick off in the second half. Iwan Zoolingen took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arie van Steensel. Arie van Steensel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 55th match minute, Velddijk VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Youri Mol to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Veenebrugge's Kelvin Bok dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Gerben Eulen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Werner Platvoet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Ron Hulshof got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Veenebrugge getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Karsten de Zaaijer hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Velddijk VV's Henk Meulenbergh broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Veenebrugge's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andre Dalman in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute, Iwan Zoolingen made a precise shot to the right of Arie van Steensel. Veenebrugge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 96 minutes into the game, Bastiaan Ottens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Werner Platvoet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
