Chiel Kuypers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Timmermans in the 30th minute of play. Chiel Kuypers made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Edgar Schattenberg sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes in the game, Florian Timmermans fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Chiel Kuypers having to interfere. If Edgar Schattenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kristof Kosterman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgar Schattenberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiel Kuypers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Edgar Schattenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Munnikeburen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Schattenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Schattenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Chiel Kuypers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
