Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Frankhuis S.V.'s Elco van de Meerakker started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dirk Idema charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dirk Idema the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Frankhuis S.V. getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dirk Idema hit a great ball. Jelmer Moes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th match minute, Frankhuis S.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk Idema to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes Frankhuis S.V. got a freekick which was hit by Giel Baars. After 15 played minutes KFC Vilvoorde got a freekick which was hit by Henry Greef. Jelmer Moes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Clarijs having to interfere. Coenraad Remmelts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Cees Fikkers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jelmer Moes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jelmer Moes took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Clarijs. Leon Clarijs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dave Klijnstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Klijnstra in the 33rd minute of play forced Frankhuis S.V.'s goalkeeper Leon Clarijs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Godfried de Zeeuw managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Vilvoorde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfried de Zeeuw was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jelmer Moes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute of the match Brain de Witte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Clarijs skillfully saved the ball. In the 41st minute, Dave Klijnstra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jelmer Moes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jelmer Moes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 48 played minutes Frankhuis S.V. got a freekick which was hit by Rudi Hanekamp. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jelmer Moes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Henry Greef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KFC Vilvoorde's Jelmer Moes got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to KFC Vilvoorde getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ricky van Dijk hit a great ball. KFC Vilvoorde's Jelmer Moes got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godfried de Zeeuw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Leon Clarijs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jelmer Moes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Leon Clarijs made a huge save. Godfried de Zeeuw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Clarijs having to interfere. Dirk-Jan Molhoek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Klijnstra succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 78th playminute. 82 minutes into the game, Dave Klijnstra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Leon Clarijs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Jelmer Moes managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Vilvoorde's supporters rose to their feet, but Jelmer Moes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Clarijs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jelmer Moes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Leon Clarijs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jelmer Moes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Clarijs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 98th minute, Henry Greef ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon Clarijs was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. KFC Vilvoorde's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
