After 90 played minutes, Spanbroek S.V.'s Lucas Riemers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan-Willem Mussies came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Spanbroek S.V. reached it. Michel Verweijen hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Giraffes United's Jan-Willem Mussies proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Giraffes United from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Spanbroek S.V. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
