Tim van Zijl started the match with the kick off. Arjen Zonneveld struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Anton Siebum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENERBAHCE NL. Ryan Eringa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, FENERBAHCE NL's goal looked a bit too open when Gert van Rijswijk came free, but Hans Stevens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arjen Zonneveld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tim van Zijl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Ronald Struik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Stevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Struik in the 24th minute of play forced FENERBAHCE NL's goalkeeper Hans Stevens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryan Eringa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hans Stevens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Yuri Bos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ronald Struik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arjen Zonneveld got free with Anton Siebum in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes FENERBAHCE NL got a freekick which was hit by Folker de Bruin. Hans Stevens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rinus Post in the 37th minute of the match. Tim van Zijl struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. In the 54th match minute, Amstelveen HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rinus Post to maneuver through the defense. John Rueda hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ryan Eringa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Amstelveen HC's goal looked a bit too open when Tim van Zijl came free, but Anton Siebum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryan Eringa scored 0-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans Stevens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Arjen Zonneveld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FENERBAHCE NL getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Elco Clarijs hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Amstelveen HC's zone, Tim van Zijl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Siebum came out of the goal and Tim van Zijl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Amstelveen HC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FENERBAHCE NL side.
