Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabiën de Ridder took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Ponk in the 8th minute of play forced SV Odijk's goalkeeper Dennis Stam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SV Odijk getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Joris Thomasse hit a great ball. Dennis Stam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Ponk in the 10th minute of the match. Dennis Stam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Ponk in the 11th minute of play. Dennis Stam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Schoonderwoerd in the 12th minute. After 13 played minutes SV Odijk got a freekick which was hit by Joris Thomasse. 14 minutes into the game, one of SV Odijk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klaus Daamen got free with Dennis Stam in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dennis Stam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Wijker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SV Odijk's Dennis Stam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save SV Odijk from getting a goal against them. Fabiën de Ridder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ronald van Zaanen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kees Klerk was relentless in the 37th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johan Ponk was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to SV Odijk getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bernard Tinselboer hit a great ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Johan Ponk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akkooi SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johan Ponk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Andy Smeekes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toni Penders took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dennis Stam. SV Odijk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Fabiën de Ridder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiën de Ridder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronald van Zaanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Kees Klerk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, SV Odijk's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Ponk came free, but Dennis Stam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Johan Ponk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Stam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Elmar Kloppenburg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dennis Stam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joris Thomasse came free in the 94th minute and tried to tip the ball over Kees Klerk, but to the joy of Akkooi SC's supporters the ball went over.
