Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastiaan Dekens started the match with the kick off. Ralph van der Stoel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrit Alberda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Kurt Valk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kerkeind's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Valk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralph van der Stoel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Marco Medgyesi sped through Kerkeind's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frans de Zwart. Gertjan Jonkman's late challenge caught a Kerkeind's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gertjan Jonkman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kerkeind booed when Wittenbrink was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gertjan Jonkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, one of Wittenbrink:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Wittenbrink's Ralph van der Stoel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Wittenbrink from getting a goal against them. Ralph van der Stoel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastiaan Dekens, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Frans de Zwart came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Wittenbrink's Marco Medgyesi. But to his dismay, Marco Medgyesi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ralph van der Stoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastiaan Dekens in the 28th minute of the match. Frans de Zwart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gertjan Jonkman's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gertjan Jonkman in the 35th minute of play forced Kerkeind's goalkeeper Frans de Zwart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gertjan Jonkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frans de Zwart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Medgyesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Gertjan Jonkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Frans de Zwart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilco Zadelhoff during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilco Zadelhoff hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Gertjan Jonkman managed to get in a good position for a shot. The wind increased when Marco Medgyesi made the kick off in the second half. Marco Medgyesi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 54th minute, Wilco Zadelhoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wittenbrink's Ralph van der Stoel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastiaan Dekens in the 57th minute of play. Gertjan Jonkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kerkeind's Frans de Zwart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Medgyesi in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Kerkeind's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Medgyesi came free, but Frans de Zwart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frans de Zwart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Medgyesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 78 minutes, Stephan Lambers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wittenbrink and the Kerkeind players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute Kurt Valk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph van der Stoel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frans de Zwart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Medgyesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Gertjan Jonkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans de Zwart having to interfere. Iwan Wit's late challenge caught a Kerkeind's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iwan Wit helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastiaan Dekens struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ralph van der Stoel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kerkeind. In the 90th minute of the match Wim Kromkamp shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ralph van der Stoel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gertjan Jonkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marco Medgyesi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wittenbrink's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
