Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fabiën de Ridder started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, SV Odijk's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Valk came free, but Dennis Stam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kerkeind's zone, Fabiën de Ridder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frans de Zwart came out of the goal and Fabiën de Ridder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronald van Zaanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Frans de Zwart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robbie Dijkman hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Frans de Zwart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald van Zaanen in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Sebastiaan Dekens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Stam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Stam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Valk, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Fabiën de Ridder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Odijk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiën de Ridder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dennis Stam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Valk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Stam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthijs Baars in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Sebastiaan Dekens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Stam was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, Sebastiaan Dekens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Stam. SV Odijk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastiaan Dekens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 43 played minutes, Kerkeind's Wim Kromkamp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dennis Stam came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kerkeind reached it. SV Odijk's Dennis Stam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Valk in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Kerkeind were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastiaan Dekens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fabiën de Ridder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerrit Alberda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dennis Stam came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerrit Alberda slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, SV Odijk's Mart Tinge got a free kick in the 64th minute. 68 minutes into the match, SV Odijk's goalkeeper Dennis Stam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Valk. The supporters of Kerkeind booed when SV Odijk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joris Thomasse didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes, Kerkeind's Wim Kromkamp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dennis Stam came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Mart Tinge hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd match minute, SV Odijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Andriessen to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Stam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastiaan Dekens in the 85th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Kerkeind's Kurt Valk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dennis Stam. That made the score 0-5 after 91 minutes of play.
