Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Besiktas Jimnastik Kulubu's Hans Harms nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gert Horring made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Besiktas Jimnastik Kulubu's Antoon Venema got control of the ball when Floris Daems tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Rudolf Butter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dorterhoek FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 21st minute Godfried Mussies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Horring saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Floris Daems had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoon Venema stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rudolf Butter's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Dorterhoek FC's Rudolf Butter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antoon Venema narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ronny van Fessum kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Rik Steyns fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dorterhoek FC's protests and gave Rik Steyns a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Besiktas Jimnastik Kulubu booed when Dorterhoek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rik Steyns didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfried Mussies struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gert Horring didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Besiktas Jimnastik Kulubu. In the 43rd minute, Hans Harms got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Dorterhoek FC defense, Godfried Mussies kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gert Horring. The Dorterhoek FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gert Horring should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rudolf Butter made a kick off. Rudolf Butter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoon Venema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Butter in the 54th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Floris Daems got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Floris Daems fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoon Venema having to interfere. Floris Daems sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfried Mussiess short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Gert Horring to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 78 minutes into the game, Aad Roswinkel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dorterhoek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Besiktas Jimnastik Kulubu the free kick. In the 78th minute, Aad Roswinkel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd match minute, Dorterhoek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aad Roswinkel to maneuver through the defense. Gert Horring made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godfried Mussies in the 84th minute. If Rudolf Butter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antoon Venema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Butter, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Floris Daems had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudolf Butter in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoon Venema saved Besiktas Jimnastik Kulubu from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Dorterhoek FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hans Harms fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Hans Harms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Besiktas Jimnastik Kulubu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
