Henry Broos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Wit, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. With a left leg Roelof Zeeman saved Kuyk from getting behind. In the 21st match minute, Kuyk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diderik de Vos to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 23 minutes, Giel Ottenhof managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asschot RKSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giel Ottenhof was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Asschot RKSV booed when Kuyk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Kiewit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asschot RKSV's Giel Ottenhof managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ab Veenema in the 88 minute of the game. Philip Scheer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Roelof Zeeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vincent Gerfen hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Kuyk's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
