Marcel Damen struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Eric Kramer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadoelen. Bob Wander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Eric Kramer made a huge save. Eric Kramer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bob Wander in the 11th minute. Eric Kramer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Damen in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Cadoelen's Bob Wander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Kramer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Damen in the 25th minute of play forced Donar FC's goalkeeper Eric Kramer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas de Swart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cadoelen's Bob Wander got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Govert Hindriks struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Toni van den Eede didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donar FC. After 38 played minutes Donar FC got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Mosselveld. Eric Kramer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Damen in the 41st minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Cadoelen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damien Willemsen in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Damen in the 55th minute of play forced Donar FC's goalkeeper Eric Kramer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Zethof's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Toni van den Eede skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 69 played minutes Donar FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerard van Zeist. Marco Zethof might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toni van den Eede. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Zethof ran back to his position shaking his head. Govert Hindriks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Zethof received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Toni van den Eede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Bob Wander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Kramer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Govert Hindriks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Donar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Govert Hindriks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Bob Wander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Kramer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Donar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoon Bouwens to maneuver through the defense. Many of Donar FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Donar FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Cadoelen were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
