Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Brunssum FC's Luuk Landman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Marcel Damen came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Cadoelen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Damen couldn't finish the play. Toni van den Eede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinier Bosma in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Meppelink in the 11th minute of play forced Brunssum FC's goalkeeper Damien Wander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Luuk Landman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cadoelen's Toni van den Eede was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luuk Landman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toni van den Eede read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Ferdi Meppelink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Brunssum FC's goalkeeper Damien Wander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Damen. When Brunssum FC's Luuk Landman in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Reinier Bosma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Toni van den Eede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luuk Landman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toni van den Eede having to interfere. Reinier Bosma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdi Meppelink to make the kick off. Luuk Landman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toni van den Eede having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Hette Jonge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cadoelen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brunssum FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cadoelen's Hette Jonge got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Meppelink in the 59th minute of play forced Brunssum FC's goalkeeper Damien Wander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carsten Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 77thth minute of the game Ferdi Meppelink who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brunssum FC's Damien Wander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reinier Bosma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Toni van den Eede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Reinier Bosma fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brunssum FC's protests and gave Reinier Bosma a yellow card for diving instead. Reinier Bosma hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Marcel Damen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damien Wander having to interfere. Brunssum FC's Damien Wander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Damen in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Luuk Landman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brunssum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luuk Landman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brunssum FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
