Sander Telkamp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacco Kloppenburg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heppert Eendracht's Bennie Oost got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Olaf Jorna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stefano Vervoort. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. If Olaf Jorna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerard Waidijk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefano Vervoort having to interfere. A collision led to Meister SV getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Serge Janus hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Jorna in the 42nd minute of play forced Heppert Eendracht's goalkeeper Stefano Vervoort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Bosstraeten's late challenge caught a Heppert Eendracht's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abraham Bosstraeten helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Heppert Eendracht booed when Meister SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Jorna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Stefano Vervoort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Olaf Jorna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefano Vervoort. Heppert Eendracht's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olaf Jorna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Bennie Oost scored 2-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sander Telkamp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerard Waidijk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Stefano Vervoort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olaf Jorna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Gerard Waidijk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
