Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Wit during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute Johan Stroobos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter Ploeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, UzTheRealChampion's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Stroobos came free, but Pieter Ploeger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pieter Ploeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Paul van der Stoel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to UzTheRealChampion getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fokke Kamps hit a great ball. Wilco Schoonderwoerd was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pieter Ploeger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Stroobos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Dirk Wiersma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Pieter Ploeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Pascall Schattenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UzTheRealChampion and the Illicoven HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pascall Schattenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Johan Stroobos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter Ploeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johan Stroobos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Pieter Ploeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johan Stroobos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Fokke Kamps fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UzTheRealChampion's protests and gave Fokke Kamps a yellow card for diving instead. Fokke Kamps hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Wilco Schoonderwoerd sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and UzTheRealChampion's Pieter Ploeger didn't even have to move. Johan Stroobos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Pieter Ploeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Johan Stroobos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pieter Ploeger. UzTheRealChampion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johan Stroobos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Jean-Paul van der Stoel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dirk Wiersma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter Ploeger having to interfere. Johan Stroobos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Pieter Ploeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Johan Stroobos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johan Stroobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johan Stroobos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Illicoven HC fans cheered their team off the field, for while UzTheRealChampion had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
