Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fred Ooijer kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Ooijer in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Heenvliet's goalkeeper Antoon Schirring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fred Ooijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, FC Heenvliet's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Tuhuteru came free, but Antoon Schirring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martien Zalm got free with Matthijs van Zomeren in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the BalBlazers defense, Martien Zalm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matthijs van Zomeren. The BalBlazers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthijs van Zomeren should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, BalBlazers's goalkeeper Matthijs van Zomeren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martien Zalm. Rafael Tuhuteru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Antoon Schirring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Tuhuteru in the 28th minute of play forced FC Heenvliet's goalkeeper Antoon Schirring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, BalBlazers's goalkeeper Matthijs van Zomeren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martien Zalm. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinhard Lamberts during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Heenvliet getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Reinhard Lamberts hit a great ball. Fred Ooijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Antoon Schirring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antoon Schirring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Ooijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Veenker was the one to do the kick off. Martien Zalm scored 2-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matthijs van Zomeren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Henry Veenker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of BalBlazers booed when FC Heenvliet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhard Lamberts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Ooijer in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antoon Schirring prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Rafael Tuhuteru managed to get in a good position for a shot. BalBlazers's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Tuhuteru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoon Schirring breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Heenvliet's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fred Ooijer 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Fred Ooijer struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Antoon Schirring didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BalBlazers. Rafael Tuhuteru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoon Schirring having to interfere. Antoon Schirring didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Ooijer went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Reinhard Lamberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Fred Ooijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafael Tuhuteru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Tuhuteru got free with Antoon Schirring in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafael Tuhuterus short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Antoon Schirring to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
