Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fred Ooijer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Matthijs van Zomeren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sjaak Lembeck in the 3rd minute of the match. Arno Frankena kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. BalBlazers's Matthijs van Zomeren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sjaak Lembeck in the 21st minute of play. Ronald Even kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Fred Ooijer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Rhenen Excelsior's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Ooijer came free, but Timmie Kolman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sjaak Lembeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Matthijs van Zomeren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronald Even hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Elbert Senden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthijs van Zomeren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Elbert Senden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Matthijs van Zomeren made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Sjaak Lembeck made the kick off in the second half. Elbert Senden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Matthijs van Zomeren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Fred Ooijer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Elbert Senden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthijs van Zomeren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sjaak Lembeck's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Matthijs van Zomeren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elbert Senden, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Elbert Senden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BalBlazers succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Rhenen Excelsior had controlled the match.
