Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Oppenhuizen HC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Toni Otten in the 6th minute. Brain Lokin charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brain Lokin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Stegerveld VV got a freekick which was hit by Brain Lokin. In the 12th minute, Guus Zaagman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddy Schrage was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Roland Sans got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Toni Otten kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Stijn Kruis made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Pim Speelman sent off a good shot on target. Roland Sans might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stijn Kruis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roland Sans ran back to his position shaking his head. After 30 played minutes Oppenhuizen HC got a freekick which was hit by Geale Landman. If Guus Zaagman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Stegerveld VV's Alex Meertens got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Guus Zaagman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eddy Schrage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geale Melker in the 40th minute of play. Guus Zaagman took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eddy Schrage. Eddy Schrage dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Guus Zaagman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eddy Schrage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Guus Zaagman made the kick off in the second half. Brain Lokin might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stijn Kruis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brain Lokin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58thth minute of the game Roland Sans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oppenhuizen HC's Stijn Kruis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geale Melker got free with Eddy Schrage in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stijn Kruis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerjan Bartele in the 67th minute of play. Stijn Kruis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Sans's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Eddy Schrage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guus Zaagman in the 79th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Guus Zaagman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eddy Schrage was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Gerjan Bartele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
