Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brain Damstra got the match started through his kick off. Felix Collinss short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Jurgen Overdiep to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Bentum's zone, Matthijs Dongen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jurgen Overdiep came out of the goal and Matthijs Dongen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Brain Damstra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Collins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jurgen Overdiep read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of FC Kapsalon booed when Bentum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurens Grommers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match, Felix Collins got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jurgen Overdiep was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Brain Damstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffrey Zevenberg having to interfere. Jurgen Overdiep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthijs Dongen, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, FC Kapsalon's goal looked a bit too open when Brain Damstra came free, but Jeffrey Zevenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Felix Collins managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kapsalon's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Collins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jurgen Overdiep breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Collins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jurgen Overdiep having to make a save. In the 42nd match minute, Bentum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brain Damstra to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Matthijs Dongen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurgen Overdiep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthijs Dongen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gert Severijnse kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthijs Dongen to strike the kick off in the second half. Gerrie Bosschaart's late challenge caught a Bentum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerrie Bosschaart helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Kapsalon getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gerrie Bosschaart hit a great ball. Bentum's Brain Damstra got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jordy Dijkstra hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Jurgen Overdiep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthijs Dongen, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Matthijs Dongen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jurgen Overdiep having to make a save. Matthijs Dongen might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jurgen Overdiep. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matthijs Dongen ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, FC Kapsalon's Gerrie Bosschaart got a free kick in the 75th minute. Jeffrey Zevenberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. The supporters of FC Kapsalon booed when Bentum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brain Damstra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brain Damstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffrey Zevenberg having to interfere. Felix Collins struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jurgen Overdiep didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kapsalon. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
