Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Kapsalon's Matthijs Dongen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matthijs Dongen in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kristian Haas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 8th minute, Stompwijk's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felix Collins fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 9th minute Matthijs Dongen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Haas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Izaak Middel suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Erben Bosman charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erben Bosman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Kapsalon's Roeland Rijaard shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kristian Haas but with some difficulty. Bennie Aalst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Kapsalon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olof Niekamp was slow to take the kick. During this time Stompwijk's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Stompwijk booed when FC Kapsalon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwan Israel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mart Landzaat during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Kapsalon! Kristian Haas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Collins went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Felix Collins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Kristian Haas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Henk van de Meerakker made the kick off in the second half. Kristian Haas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Collins, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Matthijs Dongen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Haas having to interfere. In the 58thth minute of the game Felix Collins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stompwijk's Kristian Haas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th match minute, Stompwijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Niekamp to maneuver through the defense. Henk van de Meerakker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jeffrey Zevenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iwan Israel's late challenge caught a Stompwijk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 80th match minute, FC Kapsalon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iwan Israel to maneuver through the defense. During the 82nd minute of the match Erben Bosman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erben Bosman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Kristian Haas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthijs Dongen in the 85th minute of the match. Gerrie Bosschaart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Matthijs Dongen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Stompwijk's zone, Erwin Elshot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Haas came out of the goal and Erwin Elshot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Stompwijk booed when FC Kapsalon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mart Landzaat didn't get a good kick on the ball.
