Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Zielman in the 3rd minute of play forced Kortland's goalkeeper Jens Bouwens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitrie Speelman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. Rolf van Dinteren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jens Bouwens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Batum hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Lukas van Gaals short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Harry Koning to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 21 minutes into the match, Kortland's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Zielman came free, but Jens Bouwens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kortland's Jens Bouwens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Zielman in the 23rd minute of play. When Dirk Mol fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kortland's protests and gave Dirk Mol a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Kortland got a freekick which was hit by Dirk Mol. Roy Zielman spun around in front of the goal 32 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Kortland's goal. 36 minutes into the match, Nieuwehaske FC's Roy Zielman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens Bouwens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Rolf van Dinteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roy Zielman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Bouwens having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Derk Schaars hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolf van Dinteren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 played minutes Kortland got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Pierewaaijer. Rolf van Dinteren struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Jens Bouwens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nieuwehaske FC. After 44 minutes of play Kortland's Dirk Mol was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dirk Mol hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Jens Bouwens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roy Zielman went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Rolf van Dinteren was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience was convinced that Rolf van Dinteren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens Bouwens was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Jens Bouwens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf van Dinteren, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Marcel Pierewaaijer hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Jens Bouwens didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Jens Bouwens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf van Dinteren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens Bouwens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf van Dinteren in the 74th minute of the match. Jens Bouwens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roy Zielman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 76 minute of play. Roy Zielman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jens Bouwens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Rolf van Dinteren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nieuwehaske FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolf van Dinteren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolf van Dinteren struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jens Bouwens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nieuwehaske FC. The Kortland fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nieuwehaske FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
