Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lukas van Gaal took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Wolfhagen HC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitrie Speelman came free, but Carlo Degenkamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dimitrie Speelman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With 12 minutes on the clock, Derk Schaars commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 11 minutes into the game, one of Kortland:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Kortland getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dirk Mol hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Geerts in the 20th minute of play forced Kortland's goalkeeper Jens Bouwens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Dimitrie Speelman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kortland's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitrie Speelman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Degenkamp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38thth minute of the game Edgard Geerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kortland's Jens Bouwens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgard Geerts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Geerts in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens Bouwens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dimitrie Speelman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefano Hoogenkamp took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlo Degenkamp. Wolfhagen HC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Geerts made a kick off. If Dimitrie Speelman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Boudewijn Brans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lukas van Gaal kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Boudewijn Brans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolfhagen HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boudewijn Brans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Lukas van Gaal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Edgard Geerts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens Bouwens. Kortland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Geerts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Edgard Geerts came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Wolfhagen HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Geerts couldn't finish the play. Edgard Geerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Bouwens having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Wolfhagen HC got a freekick which was hit by Boudewijn Brans. Jens Bouwens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Geerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Edgard Geerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dirk Mol charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dirk Mol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dirk Mol kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Jens Bouwens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Geerts in the 95th minute of the match.
