Yorrick Roorda's late challenge caught a Tolkmar HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yorrick Roorda helped the player get up and apologised. Yorrick Roorda hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Mathieu Bulder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin van der Aa having to interfere. Ernst Lindenbergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pascall Kregel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerben Onderwater charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerben Onderwater the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Barlo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tolkmar HC:s goal. 16 minutes into the game, Dirk-Jan Damstra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Robin van der Aa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mathieu Bulder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin van der Aa having to interfere. A collision led to Barlo FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Maarten Bults hit a great ball. If Otto Geerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julius Wijker kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Ernst Lindenbergh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Barlo FC booed when Tolkmar HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius Wijker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernst Lindenberghs short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Pascall Kregel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Otto Geerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Barlo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tolkmar HC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otto Geerts to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Julius Wijker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otto Geerts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tolkmar HC's Pascall Kregel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Lindenbergh in the 61st minute of play. Otto Geerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Pascall Kregel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascall Kregel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otto Geerts's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Pascall Kregel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Lindenbergh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tolkmar HC's Dirk-Jan Damstra got a free kick in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Tolkmar HC's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Geerts came free, but Pascall Kregel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathieu Bulder got free with Robin van der Aa in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 played minutes Tolkmar HC got a freekick which was hit by Ruud Sijmonds. Otto Geerts's late challenge caught a Tolkmar HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Pascall Kregel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Otto Geerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barlo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Otto Geerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascall Kregel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, Barlo FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
