Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gerjan de Rooy made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th play minute Theo Kersten came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bram Staal. 1-0. Cobus Blind charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cobus Blind the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Cobus Blind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bastiaan Lodewijks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Theo Kersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theo Kersten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bram Staal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theo Kersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bram Staal having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Gerjan de Rooy notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Schaik's Folkert van Dalen. Folkert van Dalen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bram Staal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastiaan Lodewijks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theo Kersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bram Staal having to interfere. Bram Staal made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Theo Kersten sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bastiaan Lodewijks to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Theo Kersten in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bram Staal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tonnie van Zanten kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arno van Boxel got free with Folkert van Dalen in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heilo's Bram Staal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Kersten in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Theo Kersten in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bram Staal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bram Staal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastiaan Lodewijks in the 74th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Arno van Boxel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heilo's supporters rose to their feet, but Arno van Boxel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folkert van Dalen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Schaik's Richard Roelfs in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Heilo's goalie prevented a goal. Theo Kersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bram Staal having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Heilo's zone, Christiaan Waard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bram Staal came out of the goal and Christiaan Waard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bram Staal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Roelfs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bram Staal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastiaan Lodewijks, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Schaik players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
