In the 16th minute, Felland's Douwe Zevenberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Folkert van Dalen. Folkert van Dalen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Folkert van Dalen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douwe Zevenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theo Kersten got free with Wim Veenker in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the game, Henry Pragt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Henry Pragt was slow to take the kick. During this time Felland's players had a chance to rest. Henry Pragt made a great header on Felland's corner, it was just that Schaik's Folkert van Dalen managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Felland had won after a very even match.
