Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Veldbraak HC's John Oude Kamphuis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Wouter Brinks shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mitchell Vroom showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sjoerd Moes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dirk Jan Kloppenburg kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Wessel Sijmonds managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wessel Sijmonds was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Veldbraak HC's Alwin Scholte threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from John Oude Kamphuis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kelvin Fleur took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mitchell Vroom. Mitchell Vroom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 30th minute, John Oude Kamphuis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mitchell Vroom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kelvin Fleur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Goes's Alwin Scholte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Oude Kamphuis in the 44th minute of play. Sjoerd Moes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kelvin Fleur to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sjoerd Moes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alwin Scholte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Oude Kamphuis in the 59th minute of the match. After 64 minutes Goes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diderik Tinselboer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Veldbraak HC's Diderik Tinselboer to fire away a dangerous shot which Alwin Scholte despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alwin Scholte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Oude Kamphuis in the 65th minute of play. Veldbraak HC's Mitchell Vroom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Veldbraak HC from getting a goal against them. If Kelvin Fleur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes, Wessel Sijmonds mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goes and the Veldbraak HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Kelvin Fleur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diderik Tinselboer charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diderik Tinselboer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Veldbraak HC's Diderik Tinselboer got a free kick in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Veldbraak HC's goal looked a bit too open when Kelvin Fleur came free, but Mitchell Vroom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kelvin Fleur in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mitchell Vroom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th match minute, Goes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Popken to maneuver through the defense. The Goes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
