Carlinhos da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Boswijk having to interfere. Carlinhos da Fonseca hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes, Fc Wilnis's Tom Plenter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mirko de Bruin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc Wilnis reached it. Mirko de Bruin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Timmermans in the 62nd minute of play. In the 70th minute Ron Snoeks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirko de Bruin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fc Wilnis's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Michael Arnolds 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Gourmet F.C's Domenik van Dijk got a free kick in the 81st minute. Chants of Gourmet F.C echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Fc Wilnis had held the ball for most of the match.
