Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nico Meyer got the match started through his kick off. In the 9thth minute of the game Casper Kun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nijnsel HC's Jelte de Wolf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Casper Kun sped through Nijnsel HC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jelte de Wolf. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick Landman during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Patrick Landman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Kun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Nico Meyer made a precise shot to the right of Jelte de Wolf. Nijnsel HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Jelte de Wolf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Meyer in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of DEN HELDER booed when Nijnsel HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Landman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Michel den Hertogh shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jelte de Wolf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Harry Bouma's late challenge caught a Nijnsel HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Bouma helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nijnsel HC booed when DEN HELDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Bouma didn't get a good kick on the ball. DEN HELDER's Marcel Klaasens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Geitz in the 32nd minute of play. In the 41st minute Nico Meyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jelte de Wolf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Meyer in the 43rd minute of play forced Nijnsel HC's goalkeeper Jelte de Wolf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jelte de Wolf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Kun in the 45th minute of play. Nijnsel HC's Olof van Someren suffered a sore thigh after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 46 minutes, Nico Meyer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DEN HELDER and the Nijnsel HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, DEN HELDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Meyer to maneuver through the defense. After the first half DEN HELDER were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johannes Kiewiet to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Kiewiet in the 63rd minute of play forced DEN HELDER's goalkeeper Marcel Klaasens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Kiewiet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Nijnsel HC's zone, Casper Kun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jelte de Wolf came out of the goal and Casper Kun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Casper Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Nico Meyer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jelte de Wolf. Nico Meyer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Nijnsel HC's Jelte de Wolf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Meyer in the 91st minute of play.
