Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Hofs in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harm Wagenaar saved Molenvliet VV from getting behind. After 5 played minutes Molenvliet VV got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Bosschaart. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teun Perk got free with Gertjan Zwaanswijk in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Hofs in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harm Wagenaar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Elroy Roodenburg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gertjan Zwaanswijk. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Teun Perk struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gertjan Zwaanswijk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Molenvliet VV. If Teun Perk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elroy Roodenburg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gertjan Zwaanswijk having to interfere. Teun Perk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Gertjan Zwaanswijk made a huge save. Harm Wagenaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Hofs in the 38th minute of play. Gertjan Zwaanswijk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teun Perk in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Teun Perk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gertjan Zwaanswijk. That made the score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcel Hofs to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcel Hofs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Marco Bulder fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Harm Wagenaar, passed just outside the right post. Molenvliet VV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Marcel Hofs scored to the left of an out of position Harm Wagenaar, making the score, 2-1. Marcel Hofs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harm Wagenaar having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Molenvliet VV's Teun Perk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gertjan Zwaanswijk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Harm Wagenaar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Bulder in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Molenvliet VV's goalkeeper Harm Wagenaar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Bulder. Ab Brouwers's late challenge caught a Molenvliet VV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ab Brouwers helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Silvolde's Ab Brouwers got a free kick in the 74th minute. Molenvliet VV's Fernando Höhenstein couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Silvolde. 77 minutes into the game, Erben Hesseling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silvolde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molenvliet VV the free kick. In the 77th minute, Erben Hesseling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match Fernando Höhenstein sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gertjan Zwaanswijk skillfully saved the ball. Marco Bulder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harm Wagenaar having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvolde's Marcel Hofs slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Harm Wagenaar. That made the score 2-2 after 84 minutes of play. Marcel Hofs might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harm Wagenaar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Hofs ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Silvolde booed when Molenvliet VV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Spijker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Molenvliet VV's Harm Wagenaar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Molenvliet VV from getting a goal against them. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
