The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marnix Ros during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Terwei HC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Roel van den Hoogen scored to the left of an out of position Wouter Plagge, making the score, 1-0. Marc Bijlsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Bleiswijk in the 39th minute of the match. Edward Zeegelaar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Wouter Plagge 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roel van den Hoogen made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wouter Jansen in the 52nd minute of play forced The Cheetamasters's goalkeeper Marc Bijlsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 minutes, Tim van Zeist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Cheetamasters and the Terwei HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wouter Jansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wouter Jansen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Bleiswijk got free with Marc Bijlsma in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marnix Ros was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 61st match minute, The Cheetamasters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marnix Ros to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes Terwei HC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Bleiswijk. Marc Bijlsma came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Terwei HC's Mario Bleiswijk. But to his dismay, Mario Bleiswijk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After having played for 75 minutes, Mario Bleiswijk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terwei HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Bleiswijk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco van der Stoel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Marc Bijlsma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pieter Mol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Bijlsma having to interfere. Marc Bijlsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wouter Jansen in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Terwei HC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Zeegelaar came free, but Wouter Plagge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Cheetamasters's Roel van den Hoogen pulled a muscle in his back after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 88th minute of the match Pieter Mol completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pieter Mol a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, The Cheetamasters's Tim van Zeist got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Cheetamasters were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Terwei HC for a fine match.
