Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gerwin Cornelisse kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Maasbommel SV's zone, Menno Brürs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stephan Hulzebos came out of the goal and Menno Brürs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Abbenbroek's late challenge caught a Maasbommel SV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Abbenbroek helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Belgeren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Abbenbroek to maneuver through the defense. Olaf Driel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerwin Cornelisse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Keupink read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. If Olaf Driel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Keupink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karel Westerhof in the 19th minute of the match. When Maasbommel SV's Gerwin Cornelisse in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgeren's goalie prevented a goal. Felix Keupink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerwin Cornelisse in the 29th minute of play. Gerwin Cornelisse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Felix Keupink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes, Belgeren's Fabiën Weerd shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stephan Hulzebos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Belgeren reached it. After having played for 39 minutes, Karel Westerhof managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maasbommel SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karel Westerhof was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 minutes, Leon Scholte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgeren and the Maasbommel SV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gerwin Cornelisses short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Felix Keupink to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Menno Brürs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Menno Brürs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Belgeren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geert Blom to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Belgeren's goal looked a bit too open when Gerwin Cornelisse came free, but Felix Keupink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Maasbommel SV's Gerwin Cornelisse in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgeren's goalie prevented a goal. If Karel Westerhof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerwin Cornelisse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Keupink having to interfere. Gerwin Cornelisse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute of the match Henk-Jan Veenker sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Keupink skillfully saved the ball. Menno Brürs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Hulzebos having to interfere. When Maasbommel SV's Gerwin Cornelisse in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgeren's goalie prevented a goal. If Karel Westerhof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerwin Cornelisse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerwin Cornelisse in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Keupink saved Belgeren from getting behind. Hans-Cees Teunissen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maasbommel SV were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
