Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Niels-Jan Heuvel took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Gerwin Cornelisse made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Dordrecht's Klaas Jan Hostede tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Dordrecht's Gerald Zandstra got a free kick in the 6th minute. After some careless play in the FC Dordrecht defense, Gerwin Cornelisse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klaas Jan Hostede. The FC Dordrecht fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klaas Jan Hostede should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerwin Cornelisse in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klaas Jan Hostede prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niels-Jan Heuvel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stephan Hulzebos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Gerwin Cornelisse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Jan Hostede saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klaas Jan Hostede took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerwin Cornelisse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klaas Jan Hostede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerwin Cornelisse in the 33rd minute of play. Stephan Hulzebos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jef Heersprink. Max Knuppel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Stephan Hulzebos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Gerwin Cornelisse made a precise shot to the right of Klaas Jan Hostede. FC Dordrecht's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Gerwin Cornelisse made the kick off in the second half. Klaas Jan Hostede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Driel in the 51st minute of the match. Gerwin Cornelisse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karel Westerhof's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klaas Jan Hostede read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Knuppel in the 61st minute of play forced Maasbommel SV's goalkeeper Stephan Hulzebos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Karel Westerhof ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Klaas Jan Hostede was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Stephan Hulzebos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Knuppel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes, John Zandstra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maasbommel SV and the FC Dordrecht players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Maasbommel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Zandstra to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Dordrecht's goalkeeper Klaas Jan Hostede, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Max Knuppel hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Chiel Salens in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Maasbommel SV's Karel Westerhof. 82 minutes into the match, Gerwin Cornelisse notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FC Dordrecht's Klaas Jan Hostede. Klaas Jan Hostede was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerwin Cornelisse in the 86th minute of play forced FC Dordrecht's goalkeeper Klaas Jan Hostede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaas Jan Hostede made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Karel Westerhof sent off a good shot on target. Max Knuppel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Hulzebos having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Gerwin Cornelisse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maasbommel SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerwin Cornelisse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karel Westerhof recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
