Hendrik Pool hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Roland Mueller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herman Roeles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Steven Vorenkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hendrik Pool kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 27th minute Steven Vorenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Wouter Enzing fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IJsselmonde FC's protests and gave Wouter Enzing a yellow card for diving instead. Wouter Enzing hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Wessel Heubach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrie Lurling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Staal in the 76th minute of play forced IJsselmonde FC's goalkeeper Gerrie Lurling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Vorenkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herman Roeles having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Rinus Nijsse made a precise shot to the right of Herman Roeles. Hoofdorp HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wessel Heubach in the 92nd minute of play forced IJsselmonde FC's goalkeeper Gerrie Lurling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Hoofdorp HC's goal looked a bit too open when Rinus Nijsse came free, but Herman Roeles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
