AFC AFCA's Tjeerd Plaggenborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dries Bont in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Olaf Niekamp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC AFCA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wieckerhoes United the free kick. The supporters of Wieckerhoes United booed when AFC AFCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Niekamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute of the match Adriaan Kleine shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henk Otten showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, AFC AFCA's goalkeeper Tjeerd Plaggenborg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giel Hostede. After 75 played minutes Wieckerhoes United got a freekick which was hit by Giel Hostede. Marinus Posthuma struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Tjeerd Plaggenborg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wieckerhoes United. Marinus Posthuma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Tjeerd Plaggenborg made a huge save. Gerrit van der Gouw struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Henk Otten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC AFCA. 86 minutes into the match, Wieckerhoes United's Marinus Posthuma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tjeerd Plaggenborg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Giel Hostede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tjeerd Plaggenborg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
