Japke Redan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Job Pool tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Japke Redan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Job Pool having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, MGKS BABOROW's Luc van der Laan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnold Ritsma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Harmen Daamen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnold Ritsma quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 22nd minute, Japke Redan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Elshot in the 26th minute of play forced MGKS BABOROW's goalkeeper Job Pool to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, MGKS BABOROW's Anthony Averdijk got a free kick in the 26th minute. Japke Redan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Job Pool read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Arnold Ritsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc van der Laan in the 39th minute of play. Job Pool showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Elshot, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luc van der Laan to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Otto Elshot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baambrugge FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Otto Elshot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Job Pool breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Baambrugge FC's Oscar Zomer got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Werner Douwes came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the MGKS BABOROW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Werner Douwes couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Baambrugge FC's Tom Engbers got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 66 played minutes MGKS BABOROW got a freekick which was hit by Dick Fokkens. Otto Elshot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes, Dolf van Zijp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baambrugge FC and the MGKS BABOROW players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Baambrugge FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dolf van Zijp to maneuver through the defense. Werner Douwes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Arnold Ritsma successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Werner Douwes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Japke Redan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Job Pool saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Job Pool didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otto Elshot went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Job Pool stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otto Elshot's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After 86 played minutes, Baambrugge FC's Jan Hendrik de Cock shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Job Pool came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baambrugge FC reached it. Japke Redan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Job Pool read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. MGKS BABOROW's Job Pool played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Elshot in the 89th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Anthony Averdijk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MGKS BABOROW's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baambrugge FC the free kick. Anthony Averdijk kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Japke Redan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of MGKS BABOROW's Job Pool. Job Pool was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Baambrugge FC had won after a very even match.
