Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Robin van Aalderen got the match started through his kick off. Robin van Aalderen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Nagel having to interfere. With his leg Lex van der Werff managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Wieksloot's Boukjan Halen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 9 minutes, Peter van der Aa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wieksloot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter van der Aa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Wieksloot's goal looked a bit too open when Auke van As came free, but Mathias Nagel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Auke van As received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mathias Nagel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregor Saveneij charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregor Saveneij the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Gregor Saveneij hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Wieksloot getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gregor Saveneij hit a great ball. Peter van der Aa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Wieksloot's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lex van der Werff was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peter van der Aa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Mathias Nagel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin van Aalderen, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Auke van As sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Bas Stroeve was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heythuysen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wieksloot the free kick. In the 30th minute, Bas Stroeve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wieksloot's goalkeeper Mathias Nagel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 minutes of play, Heythuysen's Steven Waard made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias Nagel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 42 played minutes Heythuysen got a freekick which was hit by Steven Waard. 46 minutes into the game, Elco Hertog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heythuysen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wieksloot the free kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter van der Aa made a kick off. Robin van Aalderen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Auke van As managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heythuysen's supporters rose to their feet, but Auke van As was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Nagel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Mathias Nagel managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Heythuysen's Otto Stroeve fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wieksloot's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Robin van Aalderen scored to the left of an out of position Mathias Nagel, making the score, 1-2. Elco Hertog was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Heythuysen's Elco Hertog got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Steven Waard fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heythuysen's protests and gave Steven Waard a yellow card for diving instead. Coos Holt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 68th minute Peter van der Aa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lex van der Werff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, Heythuysen's Auke van As made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
