Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the game, Peter Vennegoor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elroy Derksen. Peter Vennegoor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Thijs Struik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tervinselen HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thijs Struik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Tervinselen HC's Thijs Struik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elroy Derksen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Henk Robben showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martien Ronde in the 19th minute of the match. Martien Ronde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henk Robben having to interfere. If Peter Vennegoor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elroy Derksen made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Thijs Struik sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Vennegoor in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elroy Derksen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thijs Struik might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elroy Derksen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thijs Struik ran back to his position shaking his head. Elroy Derksen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thijs Struik in the 42nd minute. Peter Vennegoor struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Elroy Derksen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tervinselen HC. With an all-out effort, Tervinselen HC's Elroy Derksen threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peter Vennegoor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thijs Struik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Elroy Derksen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Peter Vennegoor made the kick off in the second half. Marnix Traa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henk Robben took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marnix Traa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tervinselen HC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Christiaan van den Brink hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Martien Ronde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Martien Ronde came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the ff noukoop fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martien Ronde couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, ff noukoop's goal looked a bit too open when Thijs Struik came free, but Elroy Derksen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Thijs Struik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elroy Derksen was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Elroy Derksen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Vennegoor in the 79th minute of play. Raymond Spijkerman kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Martien Ronde struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Henk Robben didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ff noukoop. A hard shot 85 in the game by Martien Ronde from a close distance when the talented Henk Robben managed to make a qualified save. Tervinselen HC's players were relieved.
