Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vogelsberg FC's Harmen Abbekerk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Steve Ros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geale Zegeling in the 7th minute of the match. Harmen Abbekerk might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joost Zijlstra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harmen Abbekerk ran back to his position shaking his head. If Geale Zegeling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Geale Zegeling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oosterend RKSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geale Zegeling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joost Zijlstra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Geurtsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Harmen Abbekerk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Joost Zijlstra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Oosterend RKSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Windmuller to maneuver through the defense. Joost Zijlstra came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Vogelsberg FC's Ronald Geurtsen. But to his dismay, Ronald Geurtsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Lennart Hilkes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vogelsberg FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Kelvin Daniels hit a great ball. Lennart Hilkes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Lurling's late challenge caught a Vogelsberg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Lurling helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Oosterend RKSV getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Edgar Lurling hit a great ball. If Geale Zegeling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 48 minutes on the clock, Jouke Akkerboom commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 50th minute there was a penalty for Vogelsberg FC. Jan Hendrik Brinks stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joost Zijlstra. 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lennart Hilkes to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronald Geurtsen got free with Joost Zijlstra in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Govert Derksen charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Govert Derksen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, Oosterend RKSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Govert Derksen to maneuver through the defense. Mickael Baars charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mickael Baars the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Mickael Baars was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. In the 61st match minute, Vogelsberg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mickael Baars to maneuver through the defense. Govert Derksen scored 1-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steve Ros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lennart Hilkes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Lurling kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Ronald Geurtsen took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joost Zijlstra. Joost Zijlstra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. If Lennart Hilkes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
