Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mathias Kok kicked off to start the match. Wim de Bruin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerald Timmer charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerald Timmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Stavenisse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerald Timmer to maneuver through the defense. After 11 minutes, Corné Brans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stavenisse and the Lutjewolde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reinier Joppets was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mathias Kok showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Tim Teunissen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Bas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Danny van der Schans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Bas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Danny van der Schans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Teunissen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Bas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Mathias Kok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinier Joppets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wim de Bruin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Danny van der Schans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Teunissen having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Bas in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tim Teunissen saved Lutjewolde from getting behind. After 68 minutes of play Lutjewolde's Wim de Bruin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Stavenisse booed when Lutjewolde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim de Bruin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim Teunissen was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Kurt Bas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kurt Bas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lutjewolde's goalkeeper Tim Teunissen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Lutjewolde's Anthony Otten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reinier Joppets narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Danny van der Schans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lutjewolde getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Henk Schutrups hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
